Helen Godfrey Smith, Director
Retired CEO of Shreveport Federal Credit Union and Sr. Pastor of the Greater ProVision Christian Church. Helen also serves as the Finance Committee Chair for the Board of the North Caddo Medical Center and as Legal Committee Chair for the Caddo Levee Board of Trustees. She served as Chair of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce in 2014. She is a 50 yr. Member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a founding board member of ICCS.
Leshonda M. Lindsey, Director
LeShonda M. Lindsey currently serves as a Project Manager at LSU Health Shreveport. She is active in her community and volunteers with her church, NW LA Chapter of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, and the City of Shreveport’s Paint Your Heart Out. LeShonda is a member of Delta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. with over 25 years of active service, where she has held positions on the local, regional and national level.
Connie Seets Reynolds, Director
Connie Seets Reynolds. Married to Dennis James Reynolds, mother of four children; Courtney, Tiffany, Dennis Anthony and Crystal. Graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a BA in Communication also graduated from Northwestern State University with AD and BS in Nursing. Founder of Smart Health Care and currently serve in an administrative capacity. Serves on multiple boards/commission in the Shreveport/Bossier area including Bossier Women Commission and Bossier Parish Head Start Advisory board for the past 16 years.
Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Silver Star Status with 39 years. Attends Stonewall Missionary Baptist Church and serves as a Sunday School Teacher.
Charlene M. Voorhies, Director
Charlene received her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Centenary College and retired from Caddo Parish as a Teacher and Reading/Math Interventionist. Ms. Voorhies served on Sacred Heart, Youree Drive and Byrd Parent Teachers Association; and also served as Red Cross Board Financial Secretary and Paint Your Heart Out and Ivy Crown Board members. Charlene is currently serving as an Usher, Civic Affairs, Senior Mission and Sunday school member at Paradise Baptist Church. She has served in several positions in Delta Lambda Omega’s chapter of AKA: 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Financial Secretary, Volunteer Chairman, RIF Essay Contest Coordinator and Undergraduate Council Member for Tau Epsilon Chapter at LSUS. She firmly believes the quote from Marian Wright Edelman, “Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life, and not something you do in your spare time.

Monica Blake Mickle, I am newly made Silver Star and Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I recently served as the technology chair and currently am serving my first term as the Treasurer of the Delta Lambda Omega Chapter. I bring more than 25 years of non-profit administration experience. My husband and I serve in ministry at the Greater St. Mary Baptist Church - Shreveport, LA. I am the mother of 1 daughter, 4 sons and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Lora Timberlake, Director
Director Lora Timberlake was initiated in Beta Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in 1953, Life Member, 2008 Golden Soror of the Year and Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Southern University Baton Rouge at age of 19. A retired Educator who serves on the Board of Shreveport Green, Veterans Celebration Committee, first African-America to receive the Modisette Award in Louisiana, entrepreneur and world traveler.

Introduced additional sponsored activities and fund raisers within and outside the Sorority. A D-9 cook off challenge or D-9 Family Picnic with a purpose to raise funds for students attending HBCU's. An Ivy Exchange where stakeholders can donate AKA goods and Sorors can purchase. Proceeds would go towards the parking lot expansion.

Director Miranda Small is employed with Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino Shreveport as the Convention Services Manager with 15 + years’ experience in delivering operational solutions that create immediate impact and contribute to long-term success in diversified organizations. Miranda Small is the proud mother of Mathis Chandler Morris, her “GREATEST” blessing! Miranda Small, has served as the 2017 South Central Regional Conference Co Chairman; 2016-2020, South Central Regional Conference Planner/Transportation Chairman; and 2012-2016, South Central Regional Logistics Chairman. Miranda Small, has received notability in Small Business Meetings magazine “White Glove Service” Etiquette with Shreveport Convention Center (Fall Edition 2011). Miranda Small, would like to further her professional and certified career as she endeavors.
Harvetta Strozier Colvin, Director
A graduate of Stanford University and Tulane Law School, Harvetta Strozier Colvin worked 33 years as an attorney in several State, Federal, and private practice positions. She also served as Caddo Juvenile Court Administrator and Shreveport City Court Judge. In 2019, she resigned as an Assistant Attorney General for the Louisiana Department of Justice. She is now a Certified Energy Healing Practitioner and Owner of Divine Connection Healing, LLC where she works with people and their pets to identify and clear sources of physical, mental, and emotional pain and dis-ease.
