Ramona Murphy Waller, President

 

Director Ramona Murphy Waller is a Business Professional with thirty plus (30+) years of incalculable experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Accounting, Payroll and Telecommunication.  Her skills and talents are being utilized throughout the community in which we live at Delta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Secretary; Ivy Crown Community Services, Inc. – Vice President and one of the founders; and at her church as Secretary/Treasurer.  She is an analytical thinker who promotes diversity and is always ready to assist an individual in need or the underserved through volunteer services or agencies. 

“Providing Infinite Service, to men, women and children in need” is her motto.

Susan Wilson Brown, Secretary

 

Susan Brown, DNP, PMHNP, FNP-BC, Director of Ivy  Crown Community Services. Susan also serves as financial secretary of the C. Wright Pink Ribbon Project and is a past member of the Red River Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Society of Nurses. She is a 20+ year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Rosalind F. Spain, Treasurer

 

Rosalind is a retired Manager of BellSouth and AT&T Telecommunications. She is also a retired educator of Caddo Parish Schools. She currently serves as a member of the Trustee Board of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She is a former board member of Northwest Louisiana Sickle Cell Disease Association. Rosalind served as President of American Business Women’s Association, Captain Shreve Chapter. She is a 53-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, and has served as President of Delta Lambda Omega Chapter. She is a founding member of ICCS.

Evelyn Hunt Valore, Emeritus

 

Ms. Evelyn H. Valore is a retired Educator/Consultant.  She is a 50+ yr. Member and Life Member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority; Her other roles include Past President, Regional Officer, Former Cluster Coordinator, and a founding board member of ICCS, namely Emeritus, just to name a few.

Leshonda Lindsey, Charter Member, Director

 

 

LeShonda M. Lindsey currently serves as a Project Manager at LSU Health Shreveport.  She is active in her community and volunteers with her church, NW LA Chapter of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, and the City of Shreveport’s Paint Your Heart Out.  LeShonda is a member of Delta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. with over 25 years of active service, where she has held positions on the local, regional and national level.

Her Leadership includes Jazz Brunch Ticket Co-Chairman for 2 years, Jazz Brunch Hostess Chairman, Founders’ Day Soiree Ticket Chairman, YWCA of Shreveport Board – Vice President (3/2018-present), Magnolia Charter School Board (10/2020-present).

Tari T. Bradford, Assistant Secretary 

 

Tari T. Bradford is a retired Congressional staffer. While working in Congress she served as Deputy State Director for Former United States Senator Mary Landrieu.  Prior to serving Sentor Landrieu, she served as the Regional Manager for Retired United States Senator J. Bennett Johnston.  

 

This outstanding leader has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for thirty-five (35) years and is a Life Member.  She has served as a chapter president, a representative at both, the Regional and International level.  As a proud member of the Delta Lambda Omega chapter she is the Twenty-second South Central Regional Director.  

 

Currently she serves as the Special Advisor/Inter-Government Relations to the Mayor of Shreveport, Mr. Tom Arceneaux.  Additionally, serves on the Board of Supervisors for the  Louisiana Community and Technical College and Former, Chairman of the Louisiana State Fair Board.  She is a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Lueburda Jamison Myers, Emeritus

 

Retired Educator and Deputy Director/Superintendent of Parks and Recreation and serves as Lay Leader and Certified Lay Speaker of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Myers has demonstrated her love and concern for volunteerism and community service through multiple philanthropic efforts including founding president and incorporator of Ivy Crown Community Services Foundation. She coordinates the Reading Is Fundamental Project.

Miranda Small, Director

 

Director Miranda Small is employed with Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino Shreveport as the Convention Services Manager with 15 + years of experience in delivering operational solutions that create immediate impact and contribute to long-term success in diversified organizations.  Miranda Small is the proud mother of Mathis Chandler Morris, her “GREATEST” blessing! Miranda Small, has served as the 2017 South Central Regional Conference Co-Chairman; 2016-2020, South Central Regional Conference Planner/Transportation Chairman; and 2012-2016, South Central Regional Logistics Chairman.  Miranda Small, has received notability in Small Business Meetings magazine “White Glove Service” Etiquette with Shreveport Convention Center (Fall Edition 2011).  Miranda Small, would like to further her professional and certified career as she endeavors.
