Reading Is Fundamental (RIF)

 

To enhance reading and learning skills for elementary students through book distributions, Read-In Days, Annual Community Reading Challenge with library branches, daycare learning centers, elementary schools, and Head Start centers, Essay Writing and Spelling Bee Contests.

 

 

Shoe Bank

 

Provides shoes and socks to needy school children.

 

 

Charm Clinic

 

Self-Image training in proper etiquette, skin and hair care, dressing for the occasion, along with social and cultural graces.

 

 

College Preparatory

 

An academic curriculum dedicated to mentoring high school students in preparation for college; including science-math and related technology, entrance requirements, interview and portfolio skills, funding sources, leadership/teamwork development, and other readiness.

 

 

Academic College Scholarships

 

Award scholarships for graduating senior girls.

 

 

Other Community Service Programs

 

Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership, Financial Management, Citizenship Duties and Responsibilities Awareness.
