Our programs

Reading is fundamental (RIF)
The RIF program promotes literacy and a love for learning among elementary-aged children. Through book distributions, Read-In Days, and an Annual Community Reading Challenge, students engage with reading in fun and meaningful ways. ICCS partners with libraries, Head Start centers, and local schools to make reading accessible and enjoyable. Essay writing and spelling bee contests further encourage academic excellence and critical thinking.

SHoe Bank
The Shoe Bank initiative provides new shoes and socks to school-aged children from families experiencing financial hardship. Ensuring students have proper footwear helps boost self-esteem, reduce absenteeism, and remove a basic barrier to education. The program operates in partnership with local schools and community groups. Every pair of shoes gifted represents a step toward comfort, confidence, and classroom readiness.

Charm Clinic
Charm Clinic is a self-image and personal development program designed to help girls cultivate confidence, grace, and presence. Participants receive guidance in etiquette, grooming, skin and hair care, and dressing appropriately for various occasions. Social and cultural education is woven throughout to help young ladies navigate personal and professional settings with poise. This program equips youth with tools to thrive in all areas of life.

College Preparatory
This mentorship and academic enrichment program supports high school students as they prepare for college. It includes tutoring in science, math, and technology, guidance through admissions requirements, and training in interview and portfolio development. Students also explore funding options and develop leadership and teamwork skills. The program fosters college readiness and positions students for academic and career success.

Academic College Scholarships
ICCS awards scholarships annually to graduating senior girls pursuing higher education. These scholarships help alleviate the financial burden of college while celebrating academic achievement and community involvement. The recipients exemplify leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to making a difference. This program is one of the many ways ICCS invests in the future of young women.

Other community service programs
Beyond its core initiatives, ICCS offers a range of programs that address broader community needs. These include health education, family strengthening workshops, environmental stewardship activities, financial literacy training, and civic engagement efforts. Each program is rooted in the organization’s mission to uplift and equip individuals across generations. Through strategic partnerships, ICCS continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact.
